Mrs. Autumn
North Zulch Librarian
I am living my dream job. I have been the librarian at North Zulch ISD since 2019. I have loved books ever since I could read at the age of three. I started reviewing books for many different authors when my oldest child was just six years old and continued reading and reviewing even when not asked. I started substituting before I began my journey of being in the library. My daily goal is to bring a love of reading to all our students. No book is for everyone; it is all about finding the right one that speaks to you. Rather it is fiction or nonfiction, there is a book and a story for every person. In May 2021, our school won the Laura Bush Library grant, and we were able to purchase more books for our students. The feeling of being able to accomplish something so unique as getting a grant, I felt like I was riding on cloud nine, and I was so excited that our students could get books they need for their future and to read.
My husband and I both graduated from North Zulch in 2002 and 2005. We have two children: Kasin, senior; Abigail, 6th grader; and my niece Makalya, a 3rd grader.
Library schedule:
I am open to all students from 8:00-4:00
The library is closed from 10:45-1:00 every day
